THE popular Ilkley Rugby Club Summer 7’s Tournament is set for a July return this year, with a whole weekend of entertainment ready to unfold.
Ilkley’s Riverside Hotel will be the main sponsor of this year’s event, which takes place on Saturday July 1 at Stacks Field.
Games of rugby will be aplenty throughout the day, whilst there will be food vans and stalls alongside music and DJs as the event heads into the evening.
Rhys Morgan, Head of Rugby at Ilkley, is still on the hunt for men’s elite teams. To enter a team, contact Morgan on: rhyshjm@googlemail.com. The entry fee per team is £80 and included in that is a jug of beer, t-shirts for the team and a chance of winning £400 for the winners, while runners-up receive £100.
Free Camping is also available on both Friday (June 30) and Saturday (July 1).
Pricing for the day itself will be announced in due course.
