Will Robinson head of the class for Baildon Dynamos six-shooters

New under-tens team Baildon Dynamos kicked off with a 6-0 Keybury League win against Calverley , Will Robinson netting two headers.

Further goals flowed from Louis Anderson, Louis Fialdini, Harvey Weston-Beyer and Ben Stevens, with Louis Turner and Charlie Menzies providing assists, as keeper Nathan Hayward did the business at the other end.

The Dynamos’ under-sevens team also made a great start as they beat Keighley Shamrocks 5-0 with goals by Alfie Turner, Ben Cockcroft, Hamish McCallum, Harvey Menzies and Connor Holmes.

There were also great performances from Lyndon Bateson and George Robinson.

Albion Sports under-eights captain Raushan Sandhu struck a hat-trick to set up an opening 8-2 win at Dudley Hill Rangers.

Luke Jeffreys and man of the match Casey Breaks both netted twice and the tally was completed by Sohail Mahmood.

Dudley Hill’s under-nines had more joy as Dominic Howard scored five times in an 11-0 victory over Cononley Juniors.

Further strikes by Dunk, Norton, Kwedi, Softley, Hadley and an own goal cemented the win.

The club’s under-sevens also emerged victorious as a Joshua Whitford hat-trick sealed a 4-3 home win against Silsden Dragons.

Adam Morris was also on target but it needed some great saves by Owen Chippendale to protect the lead as Silsden hit back from 4-0 down.

Goals from Brandon Patterson and Louis Price enabled Scholemoor under-tens to beat last season’s champions Horsforth Stallions 2-0 after an excellent team performance.

Scholemoor Tigers under-11s opened with 4-3 win at Bradford Park Avenue Scorpions as Ethan Allen, Kian King, Josh Allan and Jacob McIntosh shared the goals.

In the under-12s, Scholemoor Lions held out for the opening 20 minutes in their very first game before eventually going down 6-0 to a well-organised Avenue Lizards team.

Dominic Corps opened the Avenue scoring with a penalty late in the first half. Joe Waters, with a free-kick, and Alex Gibson were also on target as two own goals helped the cause.

Matthew Ham, Jacob Dunn, Josh Wilson and Lewis Moorhouse also had shots cleared off the line.

Jordan Fletcher impressed with a clean sheet as Myrtle Park Wanderers under-16s sent Settle packing 4-0 in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League .

New skipper Matthew Scott White dominated midfield and scored twice, with assists from Nick Hutton, sandwiched by goals by Alex Dalby and Ronan Lad.

Man of the match Paul Causley scored four goals as Undercliffe Celtic under-15s hit back from 1-0 down to beat Wilsden 7-4, with Phillip Byron (2) and Ryan Simpson also on target.

Bradford Park Avenue Eagles under-12s continue to set the early pace as two more Zac Sangster goals helped earn a 4-0 home win against Burley Trojans.

Kian Hutchinson fired home from an acute angle to open the scoring on 13 minutes but that was the only goal of the first half.

Sangster finally doubled the lead when tapping in after Hutchinson had hit the post and he took his tally to eight goals in three games before the end, with Liam Brook also on the mark.

Leaders Avenue under-15s maintained their position at the top of the table with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Salts (formerly Shipley ) Lions.

Defender Sam Kelemen diverted a goalbound Lions shot over the bar before popping up at the other end to open the scoring with a penalty after a foul on Landon Smith.

The second half saw Macaulay Haley’s strike seal the points after man of the match Tom Bentham’s low cross had resulted in an own goal.

Avenue’s under-18s stormed back from 4-1 down to 4-3 but ran out of steam and eventually lost 6-3 to Myrtle Park.

Avenue’s goals came from Matthew Knights, Matthew Wilkinson (penalty) and Daniel Parkinson, while Abdullah Mohammed was man of the match for the second week running.

An in-house Avenue under-14s match ended 9-5 to the A team against their B stablemates.

It was 2-2 at the interval, with Jake Wilkinson and Brandon Doherty netting for the A team.

Further goals then followed from Mohammed Saqib with a hat-trick and two each by Billy Enoch and Oliver Raistrick, while Kayode Ajayi was man of the match.

Wyke Wanderers under-12s maintained their 100 per cent Huddersfield League record the hard way as they hit back from 2-0 down with ten minutes left to win 3-2 at Ossett Town.

A scoreless first half was followed by two Ossett goals from defensive errors. But Wyke dug deep and, led by skipper and man of the match Ben King, replied through Nathan Younghusband, Louis Sterling and Attah Rehman in the last minute.

Wanderers’ under-nines missed out 3-2 at home to Northowram. Reece Clay equalised twice before keeper Matthew Leaper was unable to reach a 25-yard winner into the top corner.

The Wyke B team were left even more disappointed, going down 7-1 as Kamran Latif netted the only consolation.
