LEEDS Bradford Airport (LBA) has been named as a finalist in a national award run by travel agents.
The airport, which attracts about 3.5 million passengers a year, has been named as a finalist in the Star UK Airport category of the Travel Bulletin Star Awards. The awards ceremony will take place in London on Monday.
LBA aviation development director, Tony Hallwood, said: "This is a prestigious travel industry award and we are delighted to have been shortlisted.
"It shows that travel agents and their customers see our dedication to offer the very best customer experience when travelling through our airport."
"Leeds Bradford Airport connects the Leeds city region with the world. We fly to 75 direct destinations across 25 countries, alongside offering four hub services which deliver a further 100 worldwide connections."
