OLDEr people in Guiseley are being invited to bag a place on a trip to the coast this weekend.

The Guiseley Senior Citizens annual outing to St Anne's will take place on Sunday, and there are still places available.

The excursion will set off from Morrisons in Guiseley at 8.15am and will return at 9pm. Attendees must be over 60, and the trip is free for anyone who lives in Guiseley or Rawdon and £17 for people living in Yeadon. The price includes a three course lunch and afternoon tea.

The annual trip is paid with profits from Guiseley Carnival, which this year attracted more than 1,000 people.

The trip is the 24th organised by the senior citizens and is expected to cater for 230 people.
