CUSTOMERS in Guiseley and Yeadon can enjoy the best breakfast in Britain – at Morrisons stores in Otley Road and High Street.

The supermarket chain has been voted as having the nation’s best high street breakfast by foodservice industry awards MIDAS.

Morrisons beat off stiff competition from other well known high street restaurants and cafés. Visited by a team of mystery diners, the awards judged Morrisons as having the best menu choice, value for money and service.

The Guiseley and Yeadon stores feature the full award-winning menu, ranging from mixed berry and granola yoghurt to a cooked breakfast with British sausages and bacon. The breakfast menu is served every day all day until 4pm.

Gareth Field, store general manager at Morrisons Yeadon, and Harry Sangha, store general manager at Morrisons Guiseley said: “We’re thrilled that our store’s café has been voted as having the best British breakfast.

“It is testament to our strong menu, fantastic ingredients and helpful staff. Our café is extremely popular. We hope this award will encourage more people to stop by to try it out!”

Morrisons has 400 cafés and serves 35 million meals a year nationwide.
