Former Chief Executive of West Yorkshire Police Authority, Sir Rodney Brooke, was in the audience for the first night of ‘The Incident Room’ at Ilkley Playhouse.

The production hones in on the activity at Millgarth Police Station, Leeds which supported the capture of Peter Sutcliffe, the Bradford lorry driver, who murdered 13 women between 1975 and 1980.

Having been in role during the period Sir Rodney had many memories to share, which he also recounts in his book ‘The Winding Stair’.

“I can’t tell you how impressed I was by the production: really professional” he said.

A few tickets remain for the production which runs at the Playhouse until Saturday, November 11th.
