Harry, who has been a broadcaster for three decades, has made the news in his own right by taking part in epic fund-raisers in aid of charity.

Most recently he has captured the headlines with weatherman Paul Hudson as the two staged a 100 mile three-legged challenge for Sport Relief

Harry, the Royal Television Society’s regional presenter of the year, is no stranger to taking on tough fundraising challenges for the charity.

Two years ago he raised nearly £140,000 pounds by completing, with his co-presenter Amy Garcia, the two Yorkshire stages of the Tour de France on a tandem.

A very different trio hit the headlines in 1963 when a Yeadon mum gave birth to triplets. The youngsters were pictured with mayor and mayoress Cllr D Gibbon and Mrs Gibbon. The third adult is not named but she could well be the happy mother of the Yeadon triplets.
